About Us
Monologue is a media company for women by women (and some men). Our purpose is simple: to empower and entertain women across the world. How do we do that? By providing smart and accessible news, recaps, provoking and original opinions, and an Arctic-fresh take on pop-culture trends.
The Monologue masthead was founded in 2005 by Monique Crawford. In 2016, we went digital with the help of renowned start-up entrepreneur Max Jenke. Since then, Monologue has become the sixth most read – and most influential* – pop-culture publication in Australasia.
